Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is there a dress code for recruitment events?

A: All events excluding interviews are casual. Please dress in business casual for interviews.

Q: I am not a business major and do not have any prior business experience. Can I still apply?

A: Yes! We have members from all seven colleges studying anything from government to computer science. As long as you have an interest in business, we highly encourage you to apply. No prior business experience needed or expected.

Q: How can I make my application stand out?

A: Be passionate and genuine! As mentioned above, our members have very diverse interests and experiences - we would love to hear about yours.

Q: I'm a junior. Can I still apply?

A: Yes, we accept juniors who are interested in improving their professional development and will be committed to the organization into our new member class.

Q: Is it required to come to an information session?

A: Although attendance is not mandatory, information sessions are a great way to learn more about the organization and speak directly to our members. Please note that there is no difference between the first and second information sessions aside from the date.

Q: How can I prepare for the interviews?

A: You can prepare by practicing answering behavioral questions. Some example questions are linked here!
